Warehouse Project - Raleigh
Description:

The Warehouse Project takes place inside the warehouse at each of our branches. At times, depending on the weather, this opportunity may also be held outdoors. While supporting the Food Bank in this activity, volunteers may be asked to assist with the following tasks:



  • Sorting produce and placing it into family-size bags


  • Sorting donations from retail stores


  • Cleaning and bagging Capri Sun pouches


  • Building CSFP boxes for senior citizens


  • Sorting and inspecting food drive donations from individuals and corporate partners


  • Cleaning and sorting eggs


  • Bagging cereal, rice, or pasta into family-size bags


  • Assisting with other activities, depending on donations received

Reminder: Closed-toe shoes are required at all times while volunteering at the Food Bank.
